About
What began as a conversation between local authors Emily Barth Isler and Erin La Rosa has grown into a vibrant celebration of books, authors, and community. Created with the goal of fostering a bookish community, connecting readers with books and authors, and celebrating local storytellers, the Burbank Book Festival has continued to grow since its beginnings in 2024, bringing thousands of readers and writers together to share their love of stories.
As the Burbank Book Festival enters its third year, Burbank Public Library is excited to work alongside Festival founders Emily Barth Isler and Erin La Rosa to continue growing this beloved community event. The Library is proud to build on the festival’s mission of creating community through the power of stories while celebrating the diverse voices of authors and the readers who love their work.
The Burbank Book Festival is an intentionally local and inclusive celebration dedicated to honoring diverse voices, fostering a lifelong love of reading, and championing the storytellers who enrich our cultural landscape. We look forward to welcoming the community for another joyful day of books, authors, and connection.
