Leslie Margolis
Leslie Margolis is the award-winning author of the Maggie Brooklyn mysteries, the Annabelle Unleashed series and several standalone novels including Ghosted, which is currently in development as a film adaptation, and We Are Party People, which was just optioned for television. Her novel Boys Are Dogs became the Disney movie, Zapped starring Zendaya, which was 2014's most-watched cable tv program among tweens. In a past life, Leslie worked at UNICEF and ghost wrote for several series including Nancy Drew and The Hardy Boys. She also wrote the movie novelizations for Toy Story 2 and Night at the Museum, both New York Times bestsellers. A frequent visiting author and guest lecturer at schools and libraries, Leslie serves on the board of WAAC, Writers & Artists Across the Country, a non-profit that brings authors to underserved k-12 schools.
