Amanda Deibert is a bestselling author and versatile storyteller, with works spanning graphic novels, comics, picture books, nonfiction books, video games and television.

Her wide-ranging contributions to the world of comics include Rocket and Groot: The Hunt for Star-Lord and Rocket and Groot: Tales of Terror for Marvel and Scholastic, Star Wars Hyperspace Stories for Dark Horse, and numerous titles for DC Comics such as Teen Titans Go!, DC Super Hero Girls, Batman and Scooby-Doo, Harley Quinn Romances, Wonder Woman ’77, and the groundbreaking Love is Love(NY Times #1 bestseller) and so many more. Amanda’s comic portfolio also includes Darkwing Duck, The Powerpuff Girls, Red Sonja: Black, White, and Red for Dynamite, and John Carpenter’s Tales for a Halloween Night and Death Mask for Storm King Comics, as well as the adaptation of Work for a MiIlion for Penguin Random House.

She is the author of two upcoming picture books, Love from Garfield and Love from SpongeBob (Penguin Random House) and the guided journal You Already Have the Answers (Chronicle Books).

As a screenwriter, Amanda has written for animated series like Hot Wheels: Let’s Race and He-Man and The Masters of the Universe, along with shows for Peacock, CBS, SyFy, and Hulu. She also wrote for the mobile game DC Dark Legion for Fun Plus. For four years, she was the writer for former Vice President Al Gore’s 24 Hours of Reality climate broadcast.

Amanda lives in Burbank with her wife and daughter, where she hopes to continue to create stories that entertain and inspire.
